Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois
Ashtanga Yoga is an ancient system of Yoga taught by Vamana Rishi in the Yoga Korunta. This text was imparted to Sri T. Krishnamacharya in the early 1900's by his Guru Rama Mohan Brahmachari, and was later passed down to Pattabhi Jois during more than 25 years of direct study with Krishnamacharya, beginning in 1927.

Mysore Style
The traditional method of teaching as passed down by Sri K Pattabhi Jois. Mysore practice is an individualized method where each student learns the Ashtanga system one asana at a time. The focus is on personalized instruction allowing students, beginner to experienced, to practice together in the same room, at the same time, with each student receiving individual instruction from the teachers.
Led Vinyasa
AYCP one hour Vinyasa classes are grounded in the Ashtanga primary series system. The focus is on the fundamental elements of the series with modifications offered throughout making the class challenging to experienced students and accessible to new comers.

Mysore
This method of teaching is focused on individual instruction in a group setting. If you are completely new to yoga this is the perfect place to begin. You are invited to observe a Mysore practice, view schedule, before beginning. Observing is free. You can then schedule your first practice with the teacher or email us when you are ready to begin.
New Mysore students are required to commit to practice 3 x times per week for their first month. During your first month our teachers will work directly with you to teach you the practice pose by pose.
This class is based in the Ashtanga primary series sequence condensed and modified to meet the needs and abilities of the students. Mixed level: best suited to those with some Yoga experience .

AYCP is grateful to host three meditation sittings each week.
Monday and Wednesday 10:30am to 11:30am (suspeneded until October) are open times where you can come and practice in any tradition you choose. There is no teacher.
Sunday 11am to 12 is our Sangha in the tradtion of Thich Nhat Hahn [Thay]. David Hughes a long time student of Thay helped us to establish this Sangha and offers gentle guidance during both sitting and walking meditation.
All are welcome. Donations are welcome and are used toward providing cushions and the space itself.
Om Shanti
Our therapists offer a variety theraputic massage from relaxation to focused deep tissue work. Each session is tailored to meet your individual needs.
Walkins are welcome during available hours listed below. All other times by appointment.

Erin Harmon is available on Monday and Thursday 10am to 6pm
